The U.S. Army plans to purchase The Middleburg Training Center to house its Old Guard Caisson Detachment. This sale is pending. We are privileged to support the Army’s very important work that honors Americans who've done so much for our nation.
It’s also been our honor to partner with the local equine community for years. In 2017, the Kuhn family purchased the Training Center to save it from residential development, investing millions to restore it and then putting the land into a conservation easement to protect it in perpetuity. Today, the center is a 149-acre horse training venue, complete with 11 barns, 220 stalls, 40 paddocks, and a 7/8-mile racetrack.
We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for tenants, employees, customers and the Army.
